‘Rameau ~ Complete Keyboard Works Pt.1’ is a short album of piano/keyboard recordings of original pieces by French baroque composer Jean-Phillipe Rameau.

Rameau’s music came to me as a surprise while learning more about baroque music. His fresh melodies, mysterious titles and the intrinsic hand choreography of in his compositions encouraged me to make this recording.

I decided to visualise each piece using Pixel Art, continuing my work from the previous Bach albums. Each video produced represents some concept suggested by the piece’s title.

The cover art is an original painting by the wonderful artist Michele Rene, whom I discovered thanks to Baroquenoise’s synth renditions of baroque music. You can find links to their social media below.
