‘Primal Scene’ is the second EP by The Mites, recorded in Mendoza in 2017, mastered in London in 2018.

This is the last recording before our current temporary hiatus since I moved to London.

The title, suggested by our psychologist and bass player Marcos, speaks about the most primitive and instinctual shock in people’s psyche.

All the art was made by hand using markers on napkins, to represent the simplicity and straightforwardness of our sound.

The booklet was made in London, using photos of different places I would visit.

Daisies are also used throughout the art and songs for a particular saint valentine’s story that is described in the song ‘Bouquet’.

You will also find some videos of our last project together: Two cover songs original by Depeche Mode we had the pleasure to be invited to record by the band themselves for their website during the ‘Fan Takeover’ campaign for their Spirit album (2017). These are two of my favourite DM songs: In your Room and But Not Tonight.
